New CoR publication on urban dimension
The Committee of the Regions has commissioned a report on “The European Union and the Urban Dimension”. The report attempts to establish a diagnosis of urban realities in Europe and addresses the theme of integrated strategies for the sustainable development of territories and ways of regulating them within cities and urban regions. It also covers the role of the EU and Member States in building the urban environment and discusses the perspectives opened by the Europe 2020 strategy for cities and urban regions. The final report will soon be available on the CoR website.
